 Endocrine glands covers superior surface of a kidney. Each gland has 2 parts, the medulla and cortex.



Functions of Adrenal Glands 
Medulla, grey core of the gland consist mainly of chromaffin tissue. Cortex, yellowish tissue surrounding the medulla.
